Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

In January 2004 Christies in London held the auction At Home - British & Continental Pictures and Works on Paper, which included the work A Moment Of Calm On The River by Louis Pulinckx. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 564.00 (€ 825.03). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis Pulinckx - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A peaceful river landscape with fishermen sorting out their nets on a jetty, which sold at auction in August 2003 for GBP 1,880.00 (€ 2,699.18).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Im Januar 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion At Home - British & Continental Pictures and Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Moment Of Calm On The River von Louis Pulinckx zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 564,00 (€ 825,03) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Louis Pulinckx mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A peaceful river landscape with fishermen sorting out their nets on a jetty beobachtet, die im August 2003 für GBP 1.880,00 (€ 2.699,18) versteigert wurde.
