In June 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, 19th Century Sculptures, which included the work Marais Dans Les Dombes by Louis Hilaire Carrand. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,295.00. With this result, Marais Dans Les Dombes is even the most expensive work of art by Louis Hilaire Carrand that we have observed at auctions so far.
