The price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,703.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Louis Galliac have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In the Boudoir in April 2002 with an auction result of USD 26,290.00 (€ 29,204.62).
