Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2021 Sothebys in Paris held the auction In the Studio of Paolo Roversi, which included the work Bowing for the Vogue collections, Paris 1972, accompanied by the book 'Appearances', 1991 by Louis Faurer. It changed hands for a price of EUR 6,930.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Faurer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Park Avenue Garage in October 2007 with an auction result of USD 133,000.00 (€ 91,927.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2021 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion In the Studio of Paolo Roversi durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bowing for the Vogue collections, Paris 1972, accompanied by the book 'Appearances', 1991 von Louis Faurer zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 6.930,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Faurer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Park Avenue Garage im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 133.000,00 (€ 91.927,01).
