The price achieved of GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,573.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Place de l'Hotel de Ville, Paris is the most expensive artwork by Louis Braquaval that we have observed at auctions so far.
