It achieved a price of GBP 3,107.00 (€ 4,471.83), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Louis Bonamici; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Quay, Corsica sold at auction in June 2000 with the realized price of GBP 5,287.50 (€ 8,381.34).
