Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Paysage by Louis Alexandre Cabié. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 525.00 (€ 669.30). Admittedly, works by Louis Alexandre Cabié have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work At the weir; and Angling on the river bank in January 2009 with an auction result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,502.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage von Louis Alexandre Cabié zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 525,00 (€ 669,30) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis Alexandre Cabié auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit At the weir; and Angling on the river bank im Januar 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.502,66).
