The work The Sun and The Moon - 97 by Lou Zhenggang was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 1,322,500.00 (€ 136,155.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,000,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Sun and The Moon - 97 is the most expensive artwork by Lou Zhenggang that we have observed at auctions so far.
