In October 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Online | Hong Kong, which included the work The Coming Factory by Loris Gréaud. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,572.39), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Loris Gréaud - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sfumato Painting - 2014, which sold at auction in May 2017 for EUR 21,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Online | Hong Kong durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Coming Factory von Loris Gréaud zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.572,39) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Loris Gréaud mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sfumato Painting - 2014 beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für EUR 21.000,00 versteigert wurde.
