Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Maria 2 by Loretta Lux was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in November last year. The price achieved of GBP 2,268.00 (€ 2,628.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Loretta Lux achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Marianne in November 2005 with an auction result of USD 45,600.00 (€ 38,676.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Maria 2 von Loretta Lux kam im November letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.268,00 (€ 2.628,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Loretta Lux erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Marianne im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 45.600,00 (€ 38.676,84).
