Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2003 Christies in Milan held the auction ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA, which included the work Uomo con cappello by Lorenzo Viani. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,720.00 24% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lorenzo Viani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dame mit Chrysantheme in June 2012 with an auction result of EUR 189,100.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2003 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA durch, in der auch die Arbeit Uomo con cappello von Lorenzo Viani zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.720,00 und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lorenzo Viani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dame mit Chrysantheme im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 189.100,00.
