In February 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Spagna No. 2 by Lorenzo Pepe. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,314.50 46% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lorenzo Pepe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Horse, which sold at auction in November 2005 for EUR 3,360.00.

Im Februar 2004 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spagna No. 2 von Lorenzo Pepe zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.314,50 und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Lorenzo Pepe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Horse beobachtet, die im November 2005 für EUR 3.360,00 versteigert wurde.
