This artwork by Lorenzo Pepe achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in February 2004. In the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction, the work Germinazione F. sold for EUR 1,434.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lorenzo Pepe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Horse, which sold at auction in November 2005 for EUR 3,360.00.

In der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS wurde die Arbeit Germinazione F. für EUR 1.434,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lorenzo Pepe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Horse beobachtet, die im November 2005 für EUR 3.360,00 versteigert wurde.
