This artwork by Lorenzo Gignous achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in November 2018. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo auction, the work Paesaggio costiero sold for EUR 1,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 850.00. Admittedly, works by Lorenzo Gignous have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lago di Baveno in June 2006 with an auction result of EUR 14,880.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lorenzo Gignous erzielte im November 2018 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo wurde die Arbeit Paesaggio costiero für EUR 1.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 850,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lorenzo Gignous auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lago di Baveno im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.880,00.
