In July 2010 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, Drawings & WatercoloursEvening, which included the work Saint Bernardino of Siena, in a sculpted niche by Lorenzo di Credi. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 109,250.00 (€ 131,360.82), 37% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Lorenzo di Credi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of a gentleman, possibly Girolamo Benivieni (1453-1542), half-length in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 667,500.00 (€ 612,666.36).

Im Juli 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, Drawings & WatercoloursEvening durch, in der auch die Arbeit Saint Bernardino of Siena, in a sculpted niche von Lorenzo di Credi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 109.250,00 (€ 131.360,82) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lorenzo di Credi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of a gentleman, possibly Girolamo Benivieni (1453-1542), half-length im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 667.500,00 (€ 612.666,36).
