This artwork by Long Yusheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Determination for Revolution sold for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 24,264.64) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Long Yusheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poems Of Chen Gongbo, which sold at auction in April 2012 for HKD 620,000.00 (€ 60,411.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Long Yusheng erzielte im Mai 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Determination for Revolution für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 24.264,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Long Yusheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poems Of Chen Gongbo beobachtet, die im April 2012 für HKD 620.000,00 (€ 60.411,22) versteigert wurde.
