Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Sothebys in Beijing held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work Riverbank Home by Long Rui. The price achieved of CNY 271,400.00 (€ 39,247.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 240,000.00 – 320,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Long Rui - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 1,495,000.00 (€ 141,867.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Sothebys in Beijing die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Riverbank Home von Long Rui zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 271.400,00 (€ 39.247,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 240.000,00 – 320.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Long Rui mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 1.495.000,00 (€ 141.867,74) versteigert wurde.
