A top price for Long Rui - as previously expected
The work Landscape by Long Rui was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings (I) auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2013. The price achieved of HKD 1,495,000.00 (€ 141,867.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,300,000.00 – 1,600,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Landscape is the most expensive artwork by Long Rui that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Landscape von Long Rui wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings (I) bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.495.000,00 (€ 141.867,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.300.000,00 – 1.600.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Landscape das teuerste Kunstwerk von Long Rui, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
