A top price for Long Liyou
In April 2013 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work August 18Th, 1966 by Long Liyou. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 9,200,000.00 (€ 900,577.16), 31% above the upper estimate. With this result, August 18Th, 1966 is even the most expensive work of art by Long Liyou that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2013 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit August 18Th, 1966 von Long Liyou zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 9.200.000,00 (€ 900.577,16) und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist August 18Th, 1966 sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Long Liyou, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
