In the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction, the work Horse In Ruined Village (Galisteo, New Mexico) changed hands for USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,758.57) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lon Megargee - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gallisteo, New Mexico, which sold at auction in October 2013 for USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,896.42).
