Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Megalithe, 1990 by Loïc Le Groumellec was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in October 2012. The price achieved of EUR 1,158.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Loïc Le Groumellec achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 18,750.00.

Die Arbeit Megalithe, 1990 von Loïc Le Groumellec wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.158,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Loïc Le Groumellec erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.750,00.
