Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Christies in New York held the auction No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online, which included the work Angel Chorus by Liu Ye. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 56,700.00 (€ 6,856.79). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Ye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Smoke in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 52,182,000.00 (€ 5,964,325.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Angel Chorus von Liu Ye zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 56.700,00 (€ 6.856,79) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Ye erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Smoke im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 52.182.000,00 (€ 5.964.325,41).
