Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Liu Xintao achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2007. In the Chinese Contemporary Art II auction, the work Disperse Series sold for HKD 144,000.00 (€ 13,482.87) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Liu Xintao; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Disperse Series: Event sold at auction in October 2007 with the realized price of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 14,488.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Liu Xintao erzielte im April 2007 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Art II wurde die Arbeit Disperse Series für HKD 144.000,00 (€ 13.482,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Liu Xintao; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Disperse Series: Event im Oktober 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 14.488,87).
