Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Art Day Sale, which included the work The Composition of Distance G by Liu Kuo-Sung. The price achieved of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 59,141.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Kuo-Sung achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Trajectory of the Planet in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,800,000.00 (€ 1,838,152.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Composition of Distance G von Liu Kuo-Sung zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 59.141,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Kuo-Sung erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Trajectory of the Planet im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.800.000,00 (€ 1.838.152,17).
