Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dusk by Liu Kuo-Sung was auctioned at Christies in Cologne in May this year. The price achieved of HKD 327,600.00 (€ 39,266.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Kuo-Sung achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Trajectory of the Planet in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,800,000.00 (€ 1,838,152.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dusk von Liu Kuo-Sung kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Köln zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 327.600,00 (€ 39.266,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Kuo-Sung erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Trajectory of the Planet im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.800.000,00 (€ 1.838.152,17).
