Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Zebras Under Palm Trees by Liu Kuiling was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,112.78) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Kuiling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Squirrels; Foxes; Rabbits; Cats in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 5,575,000.00 (€ 610,816.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Zebras Under Palm Trees von Liu Kuiling kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.112,78) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Kuiling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Squirrels; Foxes; Rabbits; Cats im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.575.000,00 (€ 610.816,21).
