Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Lucky Rams by Liu Kuiling was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 70,800.00 (€ 8,092.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Kuiling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Squirrels; Foxes; Rabbits; Cats in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 5,575,000.00 (€ 610,816.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Three Lucky Rams von Liu Kuiling wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 70.800,00 (€ 8.092,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Kuiling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Squirrels; Foxes; Rabbits; Cats im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.575.000,00 (€ 610.816,21).
