Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Happy Together by Liu Kuiling was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 365,800.00 (€ 41,769.44), 22% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Kuiling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Squirrels; Foxes; Rabbits; Cats in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 5,575,000.00 (€ 610,816.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Happy Together von Liu Kuiling wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 365.800,00 (€ 41.769,44) und damit 22% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Kuiling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Squirrels; Foxes; Rabbits; Cats im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.575.000,00 (€ 610.816,21).
