Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dogs By The Blossoms by Liu Kuiling was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 562,500.00 (€ 64,292.92) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 450,000.00 – 600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liu Kuiling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Squirrels; Foxes; Rabbits; Cats in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 5,575,000.00 (€ 610,816.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dogs By The Blossoms von Liu Kuiling kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 562.500,00 (€ 64.292,92) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 450.000,00 – 600.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liu Kuiling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Squirrels; Foxes; Rabbits; Cats im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.575.000,00 (€ 610.816,21).
