Upper estimate price exceeded by 35%
The work Puppy by Liu Jiyou was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in August this year. It achieved a price of HKD 10,838 (€ 1,372), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Jiyou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 2,180,000 (€ 189,450).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35% übertroffen
Die Arbeit Puppy von Liu Jiyou kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 10.838 (€ 1.372) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Jiyou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.180.000 (€ 189.450).
