A top price for Liu Jia - as previously expected
The work Peek-A-Boo by Liu Jia was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 72,000.00 (€ 73,526.09) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Peek-A-Boo is the most expensive artwork by Liu Jia that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Peek-A-Boo von Liu Jia kam im April diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 72.000,00 (€ 73.526,09) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Peek-A-Boo das teuerste Kunstwerk von Liu Jia, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
