Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work New England Autumnal by Liu Kuo-Sung. The price achieved of HKD 108,000.00 (€ 110,289.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Kuo-Sung achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Trajectory of the Planet in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,800,000.00 (€ 1,838,152.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit New England Autumnal von Liu Kuo-Sung zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 108.000,00 (€ 110.289,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Kuo-Sung erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Trajectory of the Planet im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.800.000,00 (€ 1.838.152,17).
