The work Longevity by Liu Danzhai was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. It achieved a price of HKD 132,000.00 (€ 134,797.83), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 65%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liu Danzhai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Zhong Kui And Sister, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 504,000.00 (€ 514,682.61).

Die Arbeit Longevity von Liu Danzhai wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 132.000,00 (€ 134.797,83) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 65%. Für andere Arbeiten von Liu Danzhai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Zhong Kui And Sister beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 504.000,00 (€ 514.682,61) versteigert wurde.
