Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Album Of Animal, Insects And Flowers by Liu Danzhai was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 220,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 240,000.00 (€ 245,086.96). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liu Danzhai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Zhong Kui And Sister, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 504,000.00 (€ 514,682.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Album Of Animal, Insects And Flowers von Liu Danzhai kam im April diesen Jahres bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 220.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 240.000,00 (€ 245.086,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Liu Danzhai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Zhong Kui And Sister beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 504.000,00 (€ 514.682,61) versteigert wurde.
