The work Figures by Liu Danzhai was sold in the The Lasting Spring, Fine Modern Chinese Paintings auction at POLY in Poly Auction App in May last year. The auction ended at the price of HKD 12,000.00 (€ 1,424.66), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Danzhai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zhong Kui And Sister in April this year with an auction result of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 514,682.61).

Die Arbeit Figures von Liu Danzhai wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion The Lasting Spring, Fine Modern Chinese Paintings bei POLY in Poly Auction App versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 12.000,00 (€ 1.424,66) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Danzhai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zhong Kui And Sister im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 514.682,61).
