The work Calligraphy by Liu Caichang was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. It achieved a price of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 16,112.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Other works by Liu Caichang have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 23,116.30) in May 2016 for the work The Heart Sutra in Running Script.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 16.112,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Andere Arbeiten von Liu Caichang haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 23.116,30) im Mai 2016 für die Arbeit The Heart Sutra in Running Script beobachtet.
