Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2012 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Calligraphic Couplet by Liu Caichang. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 11,719.51). Other works by Liu Caichang have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 23,116.30) in May 2016 for the work The Heart Sutra in Running Script.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet von Liu Caichang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 11.719,51) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Liu Caichang haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 23.116,30) im Mai 2016 für die Arbeit The Heart Sutra in Running Script beobachtet.
