The work Dove; Kingfisher by Liu Bonong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 7,009.60) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liu Bonong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spring Floral Blossoms, which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 25,576.78).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Dove; Kingfisher von Liu Bonong kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 7.009,60) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Liu Bonong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spring Floral Blossoms beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 25.576,78) versteigert wurde.
