The work Calligraphy by Linxi was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. It achieved a price of HKD 75,600.00 (€ 8,975.34), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Linxi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Lin Xi | Light over shadow sold at auction in July last year with the realized price of HKD 100,800.00 (€ 12,577.77).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Linxi wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 75.600,00 (€ 8.975,34) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Linxi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Lin Xi | Light over shadow im Juli letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 100.800,00 (€ 12.577,77).
