The work Hawks in Winter by Lin Liang was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. It achieved a price of HKD 1,387,500.00 (€ 114,227.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lin Liang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Two Pheasants Under A Wintry Willow Tree, which sold at auction in March 2018 for USD 387,000.00 (€ 314,123.38).

Die Arbeit Hawks in Winter von Lin Liang wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.387.500,00 (€ 114.227,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Für andere Arbeiten von Lin Liang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Two Pheasants Under A Wintry Willow Tree beobachtet, die im März 2018 für USD 387.000,00 (€ 314.123,38) versteigert wurde.
