Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lin Liang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2004. In the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction, the work Birds On Tree Branches sold for HKD 89,625.00 (€ 9,028.60) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lin Liang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Pheasants Under A Wintry Willow Tree in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 387,000.00 (€ 314,123.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lin Liang erzielte im Oktober 2004 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY wurde die Arbeit Birds On Tree Branches für HKD 89.625,00 (€ 9.028,60) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lin Liang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Pheasants Under A Wintry Willow Tree im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 387.000,00 (€ 314.123,38).
