The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 180,000.00 – 260,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 22,900.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Lin Ju have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work Happy Birthday, Frida Kahlo was auctioned for HKD 487,500.00 (€ 42,616.42).
