Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Ferry by Lin Dachuan was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 94,400.00 (€ 10,389.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lin Dachuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scenery, which sold at auction in November 2013 for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 37,924.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Ferry von Lin Dachuan kam im Oktober 2017 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 94.400,00 (€ 10.389,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lin Dachuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Scenery beobachtet, die im November 2013 für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 37.924,45) versteigert wurde.
