Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Light by Liliana Porter was sold in the Latin American Sale auction at Christies in New York in May 2012. The price achieved of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,235.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liliana Porter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,013.64).
