Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Liang Yue could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work Lily'S Afternoon (Set Of Eight) changed hands for HKD 6,250.00 (€ 735.50) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liang Yue have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lily'S Afternoon (Set Of Eight) in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,504.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Liang Yue konnte im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wechselte die Arbeit Lily'S Afternoon (Set Of Eight) für HKD 6.250,00 (€ 735,50) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Yue auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lily'S Afternoon (Set Of Eight) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.504,80).
