Despite a disappointment, a good price for Liang Yue
When the work Lily'S Afternoon (Set Of Eight) by Liang Yue was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,504.80). Despite this disappointing result, Lily'S Afternoon (Set Of Eight) is the most expensive artwork by Liang Yue that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit Lily'S Afternoon (Set Of Eight) von Liang Yue im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.504,80) den Besitzer.
