The work Woman With Goats by Li Zijian was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. The auction ended at the price of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 39,432.74), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Zijian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Buffalo Family, which sold at auction in November 2006 for HKD 1,320,000.00 (€ 128,008.45).

Die Arbeit Woman With Goats von Li Zijian kam im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 39.432,74) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Zijian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Buffalo Family beobachtet, die im November 2006 für HKD 1.320.000,00 (€ 128.008,45) versteigert wurde.
