Auction result well in line with expectations
In February this year Bonhams held the auction Post War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Irrational & Transcendent #17, 2013 by Li Zhenwei. The price achieved of USD 5,355.00 (€ 5,050.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Zhenwei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Non Existent #10, 2012, which sold at auction in September last year for USD 16,575.00 (€ 16,942.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Irrational & Transcendent #17, 2013 von Li Zhenwei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.355,00 (€ 5.050,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Zhenwei mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Non Existent #10, 2012 beobachtet, die im September letzten Jahres für USD 16.575,00 (€ 16.942,66) versteigert wurde.
