Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pine Trees and Waterfall by Li Xiongcai was auctioned at Christies in Cologne in May this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 189,000.00 (€ 22,653.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 120,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Xiongcai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Waterfall in April this year with an auction result of HKD 660,000.00 (€ 673,989.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pine Trees and Waterfall von Li Xiongcai kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Köln zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 189.000,00 (€ 22.653,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Xiongcai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Waterfall im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 660.000,00 (€ 673.989,13).
