Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fishing in Winter by Li Shizhuo was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 300,000.00 – 600,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 40,970.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Shizhuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 5,865,000.00 (€ 556,558.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fishing in Winter von Li Shizhuo kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 300.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 40.970,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Shizhuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.865.000,00 (€ 556.558,04).
